In Honour donations can be made to celebrate any special occasion such as a birthday, an anniversary, a retirement, the birth of a new child, or simply to say “thank you”.

In Memoriam donations pay tribute to that special person who has passed away, and celebrates their love of reading, libraries and literacy.

Planned Giving

photo: a woman walking outsideA planned gift is a special gift you plan for the future.  It is arranged now, usually done through a will or financial plan, and realized at a later date.  Planned giving allows a person the opportunity to give a significant gift in the future, when they may not be able to give one in the present.

By making a planned gift to the New Brunswick Public Libraries Foundation, you can determine which project your gift supports. For example, your gift can support a public library of your choice or bookmobile service. Your gift can also be undesignated, to be used by the Foundation as needed.

You can make a planned gift to the New Brunswick Public Libraries Foundation by naming the Foundation as a beneficiary: in a bequest in your will, in a life insurance policy, or in RRSPs. You can also make a gift of property or other resources or materials.

You may also wish to contribute to the New Brunswick Public Libraries Foundation Endowment Fund in order to support the purchase of books and other library materials that will be placed in public libraries and bookmobiles throughout the province.

The correct legal name to include in your legal documents is: the “New Brunswick Public Libraries Foundation”.
